FastCut P is a tru-cut disposable soft tissue biopsy needle made for use exclusively with Angyotech's Pro-Mag 2.5™ automatic gun. The device is equipped with an AISI 304 stainless steel cannula with "Menghini" sharpened tip. Centimeter markings on the cannula surface allow for easy determination of insertion depth. The stylet has a bioptic tip to easily penetrate fibrous tissues, and also features a 19 mm specimen notch for sample capture. An echogenic marker on the cannula enhances visibility under ultrasound. Color coding of the needle pawls indicates the guage of the needle. The set includes a spacer with side entry to facilitate needle placement into the automatic gun system.
