Mark is a needle made of a non-repositionable stainless steel wire for pre-operative localization of non-palpable breast lesions. This device is equipped with an AISI 304 stainless steel cannula with a lancet tip. The device also comes with a transparent luer lock with an insertion funnel for easy wire loading. The wire is marked in two points, indicating the hook position within the cannula. The first line indicates that the wire is within the tip of the needle and the second line warns the user that the hook is outside of the tip. Centimeter markings and a sliding stopper on the surface of the cannula allow for easy determination of insertion depth. The needle also comes with a slide clamp to fix the protruding wire to the skin.
