CytoCut is a disposable needle made of medical stainless steel with a triple-sharpened cannula and stylet. The two pieces are perfectly coupled to avoid extraction of foreign tissue during introduction of the cannula. ​The geometry and stiff materials of the needle tip allow for rectilinear needle introduction. The cannula features centimeter markings, a depth stopper, and a luer lock for syringe connection. Echogenic markers on the cannula enable easy needle positioning under ultrasound guidance.
