Made of HDPE, these elements are designed for the transport and storage at constant temperature of blood components, biological samples, drugs, etc. In the past only frozen water-filled plates were used, whereas temperature stabilizers are filled with PCM, that in the process of transforming from liquid to solid absorb or release high quantities of heat, maintaining the temperature at a stable level for a long period of time. Temperature stabilizers represent an excellent solution to replace electric portable refrigerators and traditional eutectic plates. The elements must be preconditioned at the preset temperature and to optimise their performance, they must be inserted in the isothermal container in direct contact with the products to be transported, without there being any risks of overheating or overcooling of the material This cutting edge passive cooling system fulfills all the needs of the transport of thermosensitive products and it is suitable for all our isothermal containers. By combining the temperature stabilizers with isothermal containers, the temperature is maintained stable, depending on the climatic conditions and amount of temperature stabilizers used, for hours and days. The longer the transport time or the higher the difference between external temperature and temperature required for transport, the higher the amount of stabilizers that must be used.
