Monoclonal antibody 7-B6-1, HRP-conjugated. Supplied in storage buffer with 1% BSA and 0.002% Kathon CG.
Intended use
This HRP-conjugated monoclonal antibody enables specific detection of human IFN-γ in immunoassays such as ELISpot and ELISA.
Recommendation
HRP-conjugated 7-B6-1 is recommended as detection mAb in ELISpot and ELISA in combination with capture mAb 1-D1K for human IFN-γ (product code 3420-3) or capture mAb MT126L for monkey IFN-γ (product code 3421M-3). Dilute 1/200 as a general guideline. The dilution factor may vary depending on the substrate used. HRP-conjugates should not be used with buffers containing sodium azide as this will inhibit enzyme activity.

Analyte description
Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) is the only type II interferon. This proinflammatory cytokine is secreted by activated T cells and NK cells. It activates macrophages and endothelial cells and regulates immune responses by affecting APCs, T cells, and B cells.
