What is the M-110?
The Marsden M-110 is a robust, premium quality column scale. This Class III Approved medical scale is very easy to operate, and with a rechargeable battery, can be used absolutely anywhere. Due to its accuracy, it is most commonly used in hospitals - on wards and in outpatient departments.
Why should I choose a column scale over a floor scale?
A column scale has its indicator mounted on a column, which means the weight reading is much closer to the user and therefore easier to read.
A column scale can also be fitted with a height measure. There are three height measures available for the M-110. The HM-201M is a manual height measure. It attaches to the M-110’s column and allows you to take a weight reading at the same time as measuring a patient’s height. You can then input the height reading using the scale’s full numeric keypad.
The HM-200D can also be supplied with the M-110. This works in the same way as the HM-201M, except it has a digital display on the height measure itself showing the patient’s height.
The HM-201D is an automatic height measure. This means, when the cursor is lifted to the height of the patient, the reading will be sent directly to the scale’s display and BMI will be automatically calculated.
Additionally, a column scale like the M-110 can be fitted with a printer (this can be mounted on a bracket which affixes to the column) for printing weight, height and BMI.
Who uses the M-110?
As a portable column scale with fitted wheels, the M-110 is perfect for GP surgeries and clinics. Nurses in Outpatient departments can benefit from the scale taking up limited room as well as its easy to use weighing functions.
