Compact pump-controlled heart perfusion system
The compact pump-controlled heart-perfusion system is a closed, integrated system, placed in a water-circulation self heated fluid tank. The water bath solution completely isolates the system from the ambient temperature. Another advantage is the removable heart-suspending unit, which provides the most optimal suspension solution for laboratory animal hearts. With the minimal space requirement, the system is suitable to perform constant pressure and flow, or Janicki-type working heart modes.
Main advantages of the system:
• Langendorff perfusion mode
• Built-in thermostation
• Two independent reservoirs with 2 liters total volume (2 x 1l)
• Special semi-automatic lifting heart suspending module
• Different size MAP sensors for mouse, rat, guinea pig and rabbit (optional)
• Electronically adjusted flow rate to keep the constant pressure (0-500 mmHg)
• Parameters can be measured: MAP, LVP, perfusion pressure, coronary flow, buffer temperature, heart rate, ECG, surface potential, muscular tone and force (even with force-displacement method)
• Left ventricular developed pressure measurement with balloon (LVDP) - Janiczky type working heart built-in option
• Pacing/ stimulation is also possible (optional)
