Description

Overview The MDF® Taylor 2.0® Hammer is a Taylor-style hammer with a patented weighted design. It accurately and effectively elicits muscle stretch reflexes, superficial or cutaneous reflexes, as well as plantar and abdominal reflexes, with less effort and greater patient comfort. Head Weighted triangular mallet provides correct contact resistance for more effective testing of muscle stretch reflexes and is perfectly suited for provoking myotatic responses, obtaining chest sounds, and percussing the abdomen. The advanced, sandblasted silicone construction with soft base and rounded apex ensures both precision percussion and patient comfort. Handle Extra-long chrome-plated zinc-alloy handle is precisely balanced for increased control of percussion force. Ergonomically scalloped handle base provides greater hand control during percussion and is designed with a pointed tip for eliciting superficial or cutaneous reflexes, including plantar and abdominal reflexes. World Class MDF Instruments uses materials that comply with all local regulations to ensure that all of our products are non-toxic, latex-free, non-phthalate, non-hazardous, etc. to both the medical and the patient communities. Lifetime Quality is our reflex. All MDF reflex hammers qualify for a lifetime warranty after registration of the unit. MDF® reflex hammers with defects in material or craftsmanship will be replaced or repaired without charge for the life of the instrument.
