AutoMark is a needle with a non-repositionable stainless steel wire for pre-operative localization of non-palpable breast lesions. This device is equipped with an AISI 304 stainless steel cannula with a lancet tip and localization wire. A piston on the device handle advances the wire forward into the patient, enabling the user to operate the device with one hand only. Centimeter markings and a sliding stopper on the surface of the cannula allow for easy determination of insertion depth. The needle also comes with a slide clamp to fix the protruding wire to the skin.
