FastCut E is a tru-cut disposable biopsy needle designed for use exclusively with Angiotech's Pro-Mag 2.2™ gun. The device is equipped with an AISI 304 stainless steel cannula and a "menghini" sharpened tip that allows for atraumatic, precise cutting. Centimeter markings on the cannula surface allow for easy determination of insertion depth and an echogenic marker allows for visibility under ultrasound. The stylet has a bioptic tip to easily penetrate fibrous tissues and a 20 mm specimen notch for sample excision. The set includes a spacer with side entry to facilitate needle positioning into the automatic gun system. Color coding of the needle pawls indicates the guage of the needle.
