Description
Franseen is a cyto-histological aspiration needle designed for masses in locations such as the thyroid, lymph nodes, breasts, and lungs.
The device can be used to obtain cylindrical biopsy specimens for histological analysis. The Franseen needle is composed of a Franseen style cannula and trocar tip stylet. Franseen features a stainless steel stopper to allow the user to easily determine insertion depth.
Franseen has a transparent luer lock to provide visibility during the aspiration process. The stylet hub is color-coded for easy identification of gauge size.
