Description
Franseen is a soft tissue aspiration needle designed for masses in locations such as the thyroid, lymph nodes, breasts, and lungs.
The device can be used to obtain cylindrical biopsy specimens for histological analysis. The Franseen needle is composed of a cannula and stylet with "crown" sharpening that are perfectly coupled to each other in order to penetrate and extract fibrous or calcified samples.
Franseen has a transparent luer lock to provide visibility during the aspiration process. The needle is colored in accordance with international color code to help the user identify the device gauge.
