Wescott is a needle designed for cyto-histological biopsy of tumorous and fibrous lesions. It is provided with a Chiba tip made with AISI 304 steel and a lateral window that allows for efficient cutting and aspiration of tumorous masses. The unique configuration of the tip enables cytological aspiration and small tissue portion sampling for histological analysis. ​Internal echogenic markers on the tip enable correct placement of the needle under ultrasound guidance. Centimeter markings and a sliding stopper on the cannula surface allow for easy determination of insertion depth with maximum patient safety. The needle is colored according to international color codes to help the user easily identify the device gauge.
