The Medacta MectaQTH instrument set ensures a minimally invasive subcutaneous graft harvesting of the Quadriceps Tendon used in surgical procedures such as the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL), Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) and Medial Patellofemoral Ligament (MPFL) reconstruction.
Qualitatively superior cutting performance
Time-saving minimally invasive technique
Safe and secure tendon incision
Vertical and Horizontal Cutters are designed in a single-unit shaft-blade allowing for incision stability, while the anatomic shaft design facilitates the insertion over the Patella. Dedicated configurations for the M-ARS ACL surgical technique are also available.
VERTICAL
Used for the creation of vertical and parallel incisions of desired width, depth and length.
Rounded cutting edges reduce cutting resistance
13 dedicated configurations available (including M-ARS ACL dedicated)
HORIZONTAL
Used for the creation of the horizontal and parallel incision of desired width, depth and length.
Triple edged blade for optimized tendon incising
7 configurations available (including M-ARS ACL dedicated)
The ergonomic Cutter Handle is coupled with both Vertical and Horizontal Cutters and prevents rotation and movement of the cutters ensuring consistent incisions along the graft length.
The MectaQTH Subcutaneous Cutter is used to proximally transect the graft segment at the desired length. Combined functional features ensure guided, safe and clean tendon transection.
Tendon securing tip for guided and secure instrument advancement
Handle locking mechanism preventing premature transection
Angled graft cutting for a facilitated incision at the desired graft length
