Each catheter is presented sterile and double wrapped, with the inner packaging comprising an open-ended, perforated and textured sheath, designed to maintain optimum aseptic technique and improve tactile feedback for the HCP during the catheterisation procedure. Intended Use: Medasil Silicone Foley Catheters 2-Way are indwelling urinary catheters that are intended to provide routine and post-operative drainage of the bladder for the adult and paediatric patient population. The devices are for short term use (up to 29 days). Indications for Use Include, but are not limited to: Urinary retention Urinary Incontinence. Following surgery. Palliative care for the terminally ill. End-of-life care. Monitoring urine output. Measuring residual volume.
