Dental Dressing Tweezers Type 1 were created by dentists to improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment. The instrument is intended for capturing or transferring materials into and out of the oral cavity. Made of dispersion-hardening chromium-nickel steel, it is strong and flexible, so the tip does not bend or shift during operation.
The working parts of the instrument fit tightly to each other and smoothly close. They are bent at an angle, which facilitates the following manipulations:
⦁ Introduction of cotton swabs and turunds;
⦁ Transfer and maintenance of small dental equipment and materials;
⦁ Determination of the degree of tooth mobility;
⦁ Displacement of the patient’s lip and cheek;
⦁ Percussion of teeth.
The cheeks of the tweezers are rounded and have notches that ensure reliable grasping and retention of material. The convenient ergonomic shape of the instrument reduces hand fatigue, and hardened steel makes the tweezers light and durable. With a total length of 162 mm, the tweezers weigh only 26 g. The notched surface, pleasant to touch, prevents slipping and significantly facilitates manipulation. Without fixing the lock, the opening width is 104 mm.
