Detects a possible pregnancy already within a few days.
In the course of a normal pregnancy changes in the female body are important for the healthy development of the foetus. Hormones are mainly responsible for changes in the body during pregnancy. The most important pregnancy hormones are oestrogen, progesterone and hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin).
The hCG-level in a healthy woman's urine is between 0 - 10 IU/L (international units per litre). In the case of a pregnancy the concentration of hCG increases within the first few days after fertilisation.
medesign's Midstream Early Pregnancy Test detects a pregnancy as soon as the concentration of hCG in the urine has risen to 12 IU/L. Pregnancy can therefore be determined well before the first day of a woman's missed period (approximately 10 days after intercourse).
