Heat and moisture exchanging breathing flters (HMEF) provides protection to the patient and the ventilator device during intensive care or surgery against bacterial and viral contamination. HMEF also minimizes the heat and moisture loss of the patient’s breath during mechanical ventilation. Its lightweight improves patient comfort. The clear casing enables viewing of the interior of the flter.
