The MEDINTENSIVE unit consists of a double BHU-MEDILIGHT or BHU-MEDICOMPACT aluminium unit. A rail carrier is installed between the two units and is equipped with mobile consoles to accommodate various medical devices and accessories. Mobile consoles come in a variety of forms – as shelving, drawers, rails, stands for infusion equipment and more. Consoles can be moved horizontally and rotated, and can also be made immobile as required. The BHU-MEDINTENSIVE system provides the following features and benefits. ADAPTABILE The BHU-MEDINTENSIVE system can be adapted to suit the special requirements of individual projects and applications. The channel length, number and configuration of mobile consoles can all be customized to user specifications, as can the number and types of gas, electrical and telecommunications outlets – even paint. SYMMETRICAL Power outlets can be installed on the front or back of the unit, and mobile consoles can be freely rotated. Hospital beds can be placed at the front or the back of the system, without moving or rearranging any patient care equipment. LIGHT WEIGHT The system base structure and consoles are constructed from aluminium profiles, which provide substantial load-bearing characteristics while remaining very light.
