The Influenza Antigen Quick intended as an aid in the diagnosis of influenza virus infections in conjunction with other clinical and laboratory findings. The immunoassay is designed for manual professional in vitro diagnostic use. Diagnostic Relevance Influenza viruses mainly attack the upper respiratory tract, including the nose, throat and bronchi and rarely also the lungs. Two different protein components define the influenza viruses: the spike-like features, haemagglutinin (H) and neuraminidase (N) components.
