Includes ST (Spontaneous Timed) feature. The feature of this device is to allow the patient to breathe spontaneously, but the respiratory frequency can be adjusted by the device. BİPAP ST device should be used in cases where breathing is not regulated by BİPAP, higher pressure treatment is required, and especially in the presence of Central Apneas.
In addition to the diagnosis of Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome; It is recommended to be used in patients with a pathology that causes alveolar hypoventilation such as Restrictive Pulmonary Disease, COPD, Obesity-Hypoventilation Syndrome, Sleep-Related Hypoventilation/Hypoxemic Syndrome, after determining spontaneous breathing and insufficient triggering power.
While the breathing frequency is dependent on the person in BİPAP devices, BİPAP ST devices trigger breathing in a way that provides the defined number of breathing.
As long as the patient breathes spontaneously, the device operates in the "BİPAP S" mode. When breathing is stopped, the device automatically switches to the "BİPAP T" mode, that is, the forced breathing mode.
