Rapid freezing in Histology The deep cooling unit TKF 22 is used in the histological laboratory for rapid freezing of paraffin blocks. Up to 180 paraffin blocks fit into the seamless, deep-drawn cooling tray that is made of easy to clean stainless steel. The powerful cooling unit ensures a maximum cooling temperature of -35 °C (depending on the ambient temperature) that is achieved in ca. 10 minutes. Precisely and easy to use The TKF 22 has a precise electronic temperature control with high constancy. Temperatures can be set and adjusted on the control panel with the easy-to-use membrane keyboard. It includes a digital display and is positioned right above the cooling tray, making it easy to access and read at any time.
