Scavenging of anesthetic gases is essential for removing all residual anesthetic gases in the operating room, labor/delivery room, or recovery room. These gases can be truly harmful to exposed medical personnel, even at low concentrations. The quality of scavenging equipment for the anesthetic gas is therefore very important.
