Circulating tumor cells and other rare cell types in blood are fragile and tend to degrade within a few hours when collected in standard blood collection tubes. The CellSave™ Preservative Tubes and CellRescue™ Preservative Tubes are evacuated blood collection tubes designed for use with standard phlebotomy supplies for venous blood collections. These tubes provide cell stabilization and the shipping flexibility you need. CELLSAVE PRESERVATIVE TUBES CellSave Preservative Tubes are registered IVD products. The tube contains 300µl of Na2EDTA and a proprietary cell preservative. This preserves morphology and cell surface antigen expression of epithelial cells and leukocytes. Each tube is evacuated to withdraw 10.0ml of venous whole blood are optimized for use with the Circulating Tumor Cell (CTC) Test, Circulating Endothelial, Epithelial, Melanoma and Profile test kits.
