The CELLTRACKS Circulating Melanoma Cell Kit immunomagnetically captures CD146-positive cells from whole blood and enables the enumeration and characterization of circulating melanoma cells (CMCs). After immunomagnetic capture and enrichment, fluorescent reagents are added for the identification and enumeration of CMCs. Anti- MEL-PE is specific for melanoma cells, anti-CD34-APC for endothelial cells, anti-CD45-APC for leukocytes and DAPI for cell nuclei. Product is for research use only (RUO) – not for use in diagnostic procedures. CELLTRACKS® CEC/CMC CONTROL KIT The kit contains single-use bottles of fixed cells from a SK-Mel-28 cell line, each bottle containing two populations of cells for high and low level control. It is used as a control for the CELLSEARCH Circulating Endothelial Cell Kit and the CELLTRACKS Circulating Melanoma Cell Kit.
