The advantage of the O2 tubing is that paramedics can quickly hook up to an oxygen tank and provide superior respiratory support. The Pocket BVM with O2 tubing contains a bag, mask, patient valve, reservoir bag, 2 cm oxygen drive lines and a 167 mm/ 6’ 6” oxygen tube, all within a singular resuscitation kit. It therefore perfectly fits into any military paramedic kit and enables providers to save valuable time and easily access all equipment necessary to perform an emergency field resuscitation procedure (with and without an oxygen supply).
