The drum is a dental accessory used to store files and other endodontic instruments. It is made of anodized aluminum, has different colors and is autoclavable. It prevents damage to delicate endodontic instruments, such as files, and also avoids the risk of perforation and consequent contamination for the dentist, since the instruments will be in the drum with the active part facing the inside of the accessory, and not exposed in the clinical tray with the other instruments.
