High quality mattresses for decubitus prophylaxis manufactured from medical MPF®-foam with MPF®-visco layer in 3 different weight classes (see technical data). The visco-elastic thermal foam material reacts to pressure and heat and optimizes adaptation to the body. This creates a full surface body support. The MOLTO visco layer fits to the contours of the body for optimal pressure distribution and reacts to every move the patient makes, which significantly reduces the shear stress. It is impossible to push through the layer due to the underpadding. The sensory pressure relief also results in a certain 'fixing' of the patient in their lying position.
