Description

Double layer honeycomb technology: the honeycomb structure of the foam allows the bedding to provide pressure relief. By individually constructing the bedding surface with 35 honeycomb- shaped cubes, FAVUSAN provides 1225 different alternatives. By individually constructing the bedding surface with 32 honeycomb- shaped cubes, FAVUSAN provides 1024 different alternatives. Differing degrees of hardness of thehoneycomb cubes initially allow for both lightweight patients under 40 kg as well as for very heavy patients (up to 250kg) in this market segment without the use of electrically generated air-i.e. alternating pressure systems used therapeutically. The ideal pressure relief mattress system for decubitus prophylaxis and pain relief • unrivalled quality of wound care • excellent pain relief with wound open to air • total pressure relief• Benefits modelled after nature ... Unlike many other cube systems, our honey-comb design was created using bionics research.n. "Favusan®" is legally protected by "registered design" DM/072 730. • The advantage is clear ... By making an ideal use of space, there are more opportunities to target the decubitus more directly. • And we've gone a step further ... The edges are reinforced for easy removal or smooth transfers (e.g. to a wheelchair)
