Supplied to manufacturers to produce Leukocyte Reduction Filter for platelets integrated with pooling tubing, transfer bag, and plate storage bag, resulting in an In-Process Filter System for Leukocyte Removal from Pooled Platelets, which is indicated for the leukoreduction and storage of a single unit of Pooled Platelets prepared from four to six units of buffy coats.
Residual leukocyte content consistently averaging less than 1.0 x 10⁶/unit
The product is for single use and is supplied sterile by ethylene oxide.
The sterilization is valid for 3 years.
