The WEDx5541 encoders have a 5 V TTL signal (A and B) as well as the index signal I. They are optionally available with line drivers which, in addition to positive signals, also provide inverted signals, thus increasing the interference immunity at distances of more than 50 cm. For matching cables, please see "Accessories". Please note: The WEDS/WEDL encoders can be ordered via our online configurator for mounting by Nanotec or they can be ordered separately as a mounting kit for retrofitting or as a replacement part for mounting by the customer. We recommend the WEDS encoders for cables with a maximum length of 50 cm. The encoders of the WEDL series can also be used for cables that are longer than 50 cm.
