Characteristics

Application
for fitting analysis, for acoustic testing

Description

Coupler based fitting (CBF) with AURICAL HIT includes real ear to coupler difference (RECD) – both measured and predicted, enabling you to carry out pediatric and adult fitting efficiently. Other uses include verification of specific HI features (such as directionality and noise reduction), and include coupler measures without RECD, which can provide invaluable information about the HI performance. The additional “HI Transition” application allows for ‘matching’ the frequency response of a new hearing instrument to a previously worn device easier switching if HIs and shortening the adaptation time. Very useful for clients with severe to profound hearing loss, i.e., a highly reduced dynamic range. All the tests you need in a single solution for fast hearing instrument testing The Aurical HIT hearing instrument test box has all the tests you need to measure, test all types of hearing instruments in the way you want – regardless of manufacturer and independent of the other Aurical elements. Measure according to IEC and ANSI test standards or carry out FreeStyle measurement. It’s easy with Aurical HIT and Otosuite software – the fitting software and shared interface for all Aurical elements from Otometrics. Otosuite enables you to customize the stimuli and prescriptive targets according to your needs. It is also possible to perform verification of wireless features. The OnePosition method enables accuracy and quality in hearing instrument testing Hearing instrument testing is more efficient with Aurical HIT and the OnePosition test feature. OnePosition enables you to place the hearing aid in a secure and stable position inside the test chamber.
