D3 needles have superior durability; breakage is reduced six fold over other needles. D3 needles are able to be detected at line speed using x-ray or magnetic technology. Precision-ground tips stay sharper longer, allowing for multiple injections without burring. D3 needles have the gauge stamped into the brass hub and packed in red cartridges and boxes for easy identification.
