High technology material for simple and versatile solution in foot surgery.
Superelastic staples are made of superelastic TiNi alloy (Nitinol®), which enables stable bone fixation, thanks to a natural and dynamic compression during bone healing.
The staple legs are opened using the specific clamp and inserted in two parallel holes drilled into the bone segments to be fixed. When the clamp is released, the legs are closing naturally to their initial position, thereby stabilizing the segments under the effect of compression.
SUPERELASTIC STAPLES FEATURES:
Dynamic compression for bone healing
Engineered curved low-profile bridge
Exclusive mechanical properties: no particular storage, handling or activating procedure is required
In order to provide optimized stable fixation, it is recommended to implant the device in a bi-cortical way.
For each bridge size, different leg lengths are available, symmetrical or asymmetrical.
Superelastic Memory Staples
Superelastic staples are available in different bridge lengths:
8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20 and 25mm, to match the anatomy the best way, depending on the indication.

CURVED LOW-PROFILE BRIDGE
No protrusion of the logs while opened, less cumbersome under- soft tissues
BARBED LEGS
Small labs on Ihe inner side of Ihe legs provide bone purchase
