Step 1 If cover in place (applies to N204C/N205C), unplug thumb port and slide suction tip out of cover.
Step 2 Connect barbed end of Little Sucker to suction line.
Step 3 Set suction to appropriate pressure per hospital protocol or physician recommendation.
Step 4 Block thumb port with thumb to begin suctioning.
Step 5 Suction mouth or nares with intermittent suction. Remove thumb from thumb port to stop suctioning. Block thumb port again to continue suctioning.
Step 6 Suction sterile water through suction tip after each use to clear debris.
Step 7 If applicable, reinsert Little Sucker into Little Sucker Cover and insert port plug of cover into thumb port of suction tip.
