The UNI-LIFT is designed as an arch in which the legs are stored on special brackets. The arch is adapted to the MRI table and a bore size of 70 cm. This prevents bumping of the legs while at the same time giving you maximum space for the intervention. The supine position offers you the long-established transperineal access to biopsy in urology, whereby your patients benefit from a lower risk of germs being spread compared to transrectal access. In addition to this previously impossible access to the prostate in the MRI, our prostate intervention device guarantees you comfortable positioning of your patients in a supine position. Thanks to the grid technology that has been tried and tested over many years, the UNI-LIFT Prostate Intervention Device not only enables you to take a biopsy of the prostate, but also to treat it locally – both under the control of the most modern imaging methods. In the case of MR-assisted biopsies, for example, imaging via standard flexible coils is possible: In the MRI scanner, you receive previously unattainable anatomical resolutions of the prostate during the intervention, which allows you to biopsy any anomalies with pinpoint accuracy.
