TOUL focused laminar flow creates a highly aseptic area, eliminating 99.995% of airborne bacteria and microorganisms, including the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. TOUL focused laminar flow determines a physical barrier, effectively preventing microorganisms from settling in the surgical wound, keeping it sterile or on surgical instruments which, in the case of cardiac surgery, remain open and exposed for very long times.
The laminar flow for the operating room is focused horizontally, in this way its effectiveness is maximized, avoiding the obstacles present in the air path of the standard vents that produce a vertical flow, for optimal protection of the operating field, of the operating instruments, patients and healthcare personnel;
TOUL complies with the strict ISO 5 Standard which regulates the air of the latest generation operating rooms and allows the sterility of instruments and the operating field to be maintained even during very long operations and without time limits. It can be installed in a few minutes and only needs a common socket for operation.
The sterile air production unit is equipped with traceability for defensive medicine: there is an adhesive label on the sterile package of the cover and a barcode that is read by the device during start-up, kept in memory and can be archived.
