Our APM bari Alternating Pressure System is used for the treatment of pressure ulcers up to grade IV according to EPUAP. Due to the special construction of the mattress, patients weighing up to 280 kg can be supported. The control unit is equipped with the same functions as the successful APM 440 system. Two high-quality full-metal compressors ensure quick inflation and a secure long-lasting operation. The control unit is equipped with a digital sensor control, which regulates the inner pressure of the mattress, creating a perfect surface pressure. The lock-off function ensures a smooth and silent operation between the time cycles. Additional functions such as care mode, 3 separate time cycles, static mode and an automatic key pad lock complete the fields of application and guarantee a quick and easy operation. The mattress with approx. 120 cm standard width is equipped with 18 nylon / polyurethane cells and specially designed holding straps to safely keep them in place. Each cell is equipped with a CPC quick coupling, permitting an ultra-fast cell exchange / cell removal to freely position the patient within seconds. The holding straps of the cells feature an extremely rugged construction. 2 membrane compressors, digital control with pressure sensor, alternating pressure, static mode, care mode, 3 time cycles (5/10/15 min.), automatic key lock function (3 min.), low pressure alarm, power failure alarm, set-up memory function. 18 cells, 3 head cells static, non-bending connecting tubes (incl. transportation safety lock), self-closing connection valves to provide zero pressure zones, CPR emergency ventilation.
