Made of Nitinol, the Arcad® compression staple system is specifically engineered for the reconstruction of the forefoot, midfoot and rearfoot. Designed to facilitate fast and easy fixation, memory metal staples provide stable and long lasting compression during convenient osteosynthesis. The range of static, stainless steel staples provide stabilization during varisation osteotomies. Superelastic compression staples Indications : osteotomies, arthrodeses and fractures of forefoot, midfoot & rearfoot. 8 mm / 10 mm / 15 mm / 18 mm / 20 mm & 25 mm. Mono-cortical or bi-cortical anchorage. Notched area for optimal anchorage. Chamfered extremity for easy placement. Low profile and atraumatic contours. Memory shape alloy for immediate and continuous compression. Delivered at ambient temperatures. Compressive strength is generated by mechanical stress by means of Arcad® insertion forceps.
