Description

The Novodiax ihc DAB 1:1 Kit is intended for in vitro diagnostic use. The kit can also be used with the Novodiax ihcDirect® in vitro diagnostic tests and other immunohistochemistry (IHC) test applications to form visible brown color during IHC test procedures. The ihc DAB 1:1 reagents arrive liquid, ready-to-use bottles with color coded pour-off dispense lids. Users prepare the ihc DAB 1:1 Working Solution by dispensing equal amounts of the DAB 1:1 chromogen and the DAB 1:1 Diluent into a mixing tube and inverting. The ihc DAB 1:1 reagent integrates beautifully with ihcDirect test procedures. Principle of ihcDirect Procedure: Ready-to-use ihcDirect pHRP antibody conjugate is applied to pretreated FFPE or frozen tissue sections, where it binds to a matching antigen. After a thorough wash step within the procedure, the DAB Working Solution is applied to the tissue. The antibody-linked pHRP catalyzes with DAB to form visible brown color precipitates at the site of the antibody-antigen reaction. See Novodiax ihcDirect IHC tests for further procedure details.
