The TENTOS 4F stent is a self-expanding nitinol stent for the infrapopliteal and femoral arteries.** The peak-to-valley open-cell design of the stent with short stent struts allows for high flexibility and good vessel wall coverage even in complex vessel anatomies. Particularly, in highly tortuous vessels, this reduces the risk of individual stent struts protruding into the vessel lumen.
The new outer catheter material has significantly higher tensile strength and stability than previously used catheter materials for controlled and easy handling.
