Unique stent design
Hybrid and oblique
High flexibility of the open-cell segments
Improves verifiably the quality of life
The sinus obliquus is the only self-expanding hybrid stent with a beveled proximal stent tip in a closed-cell design used to treat symptomatic obstruction of the iliac vein near the bifurcation to the inferior vena cava. Approximately 50-60%¹'² of patients with iliofemoral venous thrombosis have compression of the predominantly left iliac vein by the right iliac artery - the so-called May-Thurner syndrome. The special design of the sinus obliquus enables the treatment of this special indication.
DETAILS
Uniqueness
The ONLY stent with oblique design, specifically for MTS.
Radial force and flexibility are applied where they are needed.
Oblique Power Crown
Lower risk of thromboembolism or occlusions due to the adapted radial force of the closed-cell portion of the stent.
Repositionability
Enables precise stent placement increasing the chances of a successful intervention.
