Description

Guaranteed non-coring of the silicone membrane thus prevents leakage and leaching of skin or silicone particles into the blood with subsequent complications reduces the risk of infection stable needle tip extends the function and service life of port systems connective tubing equipped with Luer-Lock (e.g. taxolcompatible, free of PVC, DEHP, Latex) Special puncture cannulas for implanted port catheter systems made of medical steel with non-coring special grinding, either with Luer lock attachment or optional connecting tube, handle or fixation wings…. Different diameters and lengths are available depending on the application and necessary flow rate. Access to implanted portcatheter systems for rinsing of the system, administration of pharmaceuticals or infusions or blood sampling. Use only the appropriate non-coring special puncture needles to puncture the silicone membranes of the port chambers. These are specially beveled to prevent silicone particle fragmentation and membrane puncture defects. Depending on the indication, the choice of the appropriate cannula diameter and its length is in responsibility of the physician. A Luer-Lock connector allows connection to syringes, infusion systems, etc. with a 6% Luer taper for intravascular and hypodermic applications. Patient group: Patients in need for long-term central access to the vascular system for the above applications. Operator: Medical professionals (doctors, nurses) with appropriate training.
