The Transfer Aid Merlin, which can optionally be used with the Raising Aid Merlin and/or Loop Belt, is a simple and safe aid for assisting people with restricted movements instanding up and changing position. The Transfer Aid Merlin enables carers to transfer patients in an easier, energysaving and back-friendly manner and it can also mobilise the remaining strength in the patient’s arms and legs, if applicable, and also give them a feeling of security. The ingenious design in conjunction with the smooth-running rollers allows a particularly safe and easy handling of the Transfer Aid Merlin. The use of high-quality stainless steel also allows maximum stability and keeps disinfection processes even after multiple uses without problems and completely rust-free. The Raising Aid Merlin assists with the support of a patient for sitting and standing or for moving a patient into a wheelchair, onto the toilet or onto a chair. It helps the caregiver to control the movement very effectively and obese patients or unstable or nervous patients can be held more securely. Anxious patients are given a sense of security. The Raising Aid Merlin is placed round the patient’s hips and locked in position with the assistance of the quick-release fastener, the width of which can be adjusted.
