Pop tablets and capsules from blister packaging with ease when preparing monitored dosage systems.
USES
Pop tablets and capsules from blister packaging with ease when preparing monitored dosage systems. Prevent and reduce repetitive strain injury (RSI), usually developed by dispensers preparing dosage compliance services which requires popping many tablets and capsules from modern blister packaging by using the Professional Poppitt machine.
OPERATION
The Professional Poppitt machine swiftly pushes out tablets and capsules from blister packets. The machine operates using a micro-switch which is built into the device. Pills are collected into a drawer ready for dispense into Monitor Dosage Systems. It is suggested that dispensing technicians initially practise the technique by utilising ‘out of date’ stock.
CARE
It is important to use the device correctly. Breakages occur when pressure is applied to heavily scored tablets. Some brands of tablets are also very thin and soft. Be wary of pills sticking, many Parallel Imports have sticky labels attached to the underside by the importers. They are not always carefully positioned and prevent ‘pills’ from being ejected easily.
