THE HOSPITAL INFORMATION SYSTEM BIS 2030 performs acoustic-light signalization of “patient- nurse” and “nurse-nurse” calls. This system enables three call types, one information on personnel circulation in the object and listening to the music and educational programmes. - Common call This call is of “patient-nurse” type.The patient makes call using the hand set (RS). Call is announced on the central panel (CP) in the “nurse-in-charge” room. The nurse recognizes type of the call on the basis of acoustic and light information. - Urgent SOS call This call is activated by pulling of the SOS switch in the toilet/bathroom, and differs from the common call. - Nurse paging This call is of “nurse-nurse” type. It is activated by depressing the pushbutton on the room terminal (ST). Nurse paging is different acoustically and visually, in respect to the previous calls. - Nurse presence Activating of corresponding pushbutton on the room terminal, nurse informs the rest of personnel of her circulation in the object, by means of light signal. In this manner, nurse can confirm her presence in one patient room, and other patients can call her wherever she is. Utilization of musical and educational programmes is also possible by means of BIS 2030 system. The system BIS2030 consists of: control panel (CP), parallel panel (PP), room terminal (ST), connecting terminal (PT), handset (RS), room signal lamp (SSL), pull-up switch (SOS), programme selector(SP), attenuator (AT) and supply unit (NJ). CENTRAL PANEL (CP 2000) CP is mounted on the wall near the sister panel or placed on sister desk.It is equipped with touch displey, loadspeaker and function buttons.
