B.1.1. PMMA CAD-CAM DISC multilayer Multi-layered, pre-coloured PMMA discs for making temporary crowns and bridges. A multi-layered disc is composed of five shades of colour with gentle colour transitions that give it a natural look. Characteristics Vickers hardness: min 26 HV. Flexural strength: min. 114 MPa. E-Module: min. 2771 MPa. Residual monomer < 1%. Diameter: 95 - 100 mm. Thickness: 15, 16, 18, 20 mm. Indications temporary crowns and bridges Color range A1, A2, A3, B1 POLIDENT PMMA CAD/CAM DISC type BASIC (monochrome), MULTILAYER and 3-LAYER are suitable for manufacturing of long-term temporary crowns and bridges and for verifying the bridge on the plaster model/mouth before the final ZrO2 milling process. POLIDENT PMMA CAD/CAM DISC type MULTILAYER and 3-LAYER are composed by several different layers. Layers colours are adapted to the natural colour gradient of the tooth. The final result is a very aesthetic and economic restoration. SOME RULES TO CONSIDER THROUGH THE PMMA C & B DESIGN:  The minimum wall thickness has to be 1,0mm in occlusal region and 0,6mm in cervical region.  The connector profile has to be more than 10mm2 in anterior region and more than 15 mm2 in posterior region.  A max of two pontics is allowed between two abutment teeth in posterior region.  Pay attention to the positioning of the restoration within the MULTILAYER and 3-LAYER disc. The enamel layer is marked on the top of disc. FINISHING C & B AND CEMENTING IN THE MOUTH:  Use burs for acrylic. Polishing is possible with polishing paste and soft hair brushes. Pay attention not to overheat the material!  For cementing the bridge use temporary cement.
