Introduction
MEDS-2003 is a medical grade embedded system equipped with the NUC form factor embedded boards based on 7th Generation Intel® Core™ Mobile processors (codenamed Kabylake), integrating the low power Intel® HD Graphics 520. With this integration, 3D graphics performance and the speed of 4K encode and decode operations are improved. Its special and compact design, plus low power consumption makes the MEDS-2003 a perfect solution to supporting visual and computational applications in the medical field.
This NUC system features 2x Dual Channel SO-DIMM DDR4 2133 MHz up to 32GB; 3x USB 3.0 compliant and 1x USB 3.1 Type C ports; 2x HDMI ports support resolution up to 4Kx2K@30Hz and 1x DP supports up to 4096 x 2160@60Hz resolution; multiple storage with 1 x SATA III port or 1x M.2 2260 interface. Moreover, the compact chassis platform integrates the M.2 interface, which provides wireless connectivity including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing ideal communication and connectivity.
The MEDS-2003 delivers robust performance than its predecessors. In addition, it operates with thermal design power (TDP) under 15W and also supports a wide voltage of power input from 12V to 19V for rugged applications.
