AXILUS™ is a complete lateral thoracic support system with comprehensive adjustability in width & height to enhance the proper alignment of the chest. The cushions made of a unique and durable injectable foam are very comfortable and resistant overtime. AXILUS™ cushions come in 7 different sizes & shapes to allow for optimal ergonomic as each side can be customized to the specificity of the user. The fabric cover is removable and washable. The anchors are available in a standard and swing-away options. For the child, the width varies from 7 to 11’’ (18 to 28cm) and the height may vary of -2 to +2’’ (-5 to +5cm). When used with BACKUS™/CURVUS™ and depending on the selected cushions: For the adult, the width adjustment of the lateral cushions may be moved towards the interior by 3’’ (8cm) and the height of the lateral cushions may vary by -4.5 to +4.5’’ (-11 to +11cm).
