It is equipped with a full, alphanumeric keyboard layout with function keys, while still offering a space saving design. It is used for EMS in ambulances and fire trucks as well as in police cars. Public safety officers use it for in-vehicle operations in patrol and emergency vehicle environments to gain efficiency – especially compared to a standard laptop. With a customer-specific bracket, the vehicle keyboard can be flexibly adapted to your installation requirements. The backlit keys ensure safe data input at any time, even in poor lighting conditions or darkness. With an operating temperature from -30 °C to +70 °C (-22 °F to +158 °F) and 0 °C to +50 °C (+32°F to +122 °F) for the touchpad the vehicle keyboard works in extreme heat as well as in cold environments.
