The oxygen microsensor housed in a flow-through cell is optimized for a fast response time (t90< 1 sec in gas, < 5 sec. in liquid). The microsensor with a tip size from < 50 µm to 140 µm is integrated in a sleeve made of Teflon® tightened with a silicone rubber, which is mounted to a T-connector. The liquid volume inside the FTCH is about 310 µL. External tubing with an inner diameter of 1.6, 2.3, and 3.2 mm can be connected via Luer-Lock adpaters. Liquids (e. g. water, blood, etc.) can be pumped through the cell. The FTCH-PSt1 has a measurement range of 0 – 50 % oxygen, with a detection limit of 0.05 % oxygen.
